Eerste 2 linkerpinnen zitten in het kleine botje
(The first 2 pins on the left are drilled into the little thumb bone)

De rechter 2 pinnen nu ook in het grotere bot
(The right side 2 pins are now drilled into the bigger thumb bone)

Ruimte tussen botjes groter gemaakt (3,5mm)
(The 2 thumb bones are now distracted (about 3.5mm) from each other)

Linkerhand ingepakt na operatie voor 2 dagen
(After surgery left hand in bandages for 2 days):

Na 2 dagen ging op 17 oktober het verband er en werd de spalk gebouwd
(After 2 days the bandages were removed on October 17th and the splint was being build):
